Day 1: Grottaglie
Arrival to the Grottaglie accommodation for check-in. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Taranto & Ceramics
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Taranto to discover one of the largest cities in Puglia with a guided walking tour. The city is famous for having two seas, the “Mar Piccolo” and the “Mar Grande”, separated by a swing bridge. You will visit the Aragonese Castle, the Greek colony in the Borgo Antico and the Città Nuova. A visit to the Magna Grecia MARTA museum is included.
In the afternoon, transfer to Laterza, the home of Apulian ceramic production. You will meet a master potter in his studio and learn the techniques of local ceramics. A very authentic and meaningful experience. Dinner on your own and return to Grottaglie in the evening.

Day 3: Manduria and Grottaglie
In the morning, transfer to a local winery in Manduria. Enjoy a full winery tour to discover its wine-making history. Tasting of 4 local wines.
After lunch, transfer to Grottaglie for a guided tour. Grottaglie is the only town in the world with a district exclusively dedicated to ceramic workshops and artists. You will meet your guide to discover the historic centre of Grottaglie, the studio of the master ceramists, and the museum inside the ceramics workshop. Dinner on your own.
