What to expect
We will meet at our farm in Bronte, on the slopes of Etna. I will tell you the history of the facility, an ancient grange dating back to the 17th century. We will take a walk through the pistachio grove and you will discover many curiosities, from cultivation to harvesting.
You will then see how the pistachio undergoes its first processing phases and we will have a pleasant tasting, savouring the taste of the Pistacchio verde di Bronte DOP in all its forms:
- Whole shelled Bronte pistachio in its natural state
- 1 bruschetta with our Nocellara Etnea extra virgin olive oil
- 1 bruschetta with Bronte pistachio pesto and mortadella
- Sicilian Brioche col Tuppo, filled with Bronte pistachio cream
- Pistachio ice cream
- Water

The service of italia delight was fast and kind. Also the pistachio tour was great. The owner and his girlfriend took the time to explain the process of the pistachio and afterwards they made the best combinations with their products. We had a nice talk and feel very welcome.
We booked this trip via Italia Delight to visit the farm. As we stayed far away from the area we asked Italia Delight to arrange a visit in the afternoon and they helped to do so. The visit was amazing, already the area and the historical building are very impressive! The farm owner and his girlfriend showed us the farm and explained us how pistachios are grown and processed. They prepared a lovely food tasting as well. It was absolutely worth the visit and we hope we can come back during the year of the harvest as well!
