Day 1: Welcome
Arrival and accommodation in a superior room planned for the afternoon. In your room, you will find the typical Sicilian “coffa” with scissors, gardening gloves and a map of the estate. You will take a walk in the garden and pick seasonal fruit. With the owner, you will then take a tour of the olive groves and olive oil tasting, learn how to correctly read a label and methods for proper storage.
Afterwards, you will have a relaxing moment by the pool in the shade of carob, fig and olive trees, sipping excellent local wine and enjoying an aperitif/dinner with typical products, home-made preserves, bread and olive oil.

Day 2: Relaxation & taste by the pool
After a rich breakfast, you can relax between a dip in the pool and a session in the jacuzzi. As soon as you are ready, our physiotherapist will eﬀect a massage of your choice (relaxing, therapeutic, aesthetic or sports massage), accompanied by the chirping of birds and the sound of nature.
In the late afternoon/early evening, free time for an independent visit of Racalmuto.

Day 3: Excursions out of town
You can customise day 3 with: a pizza lesson on the estate or in Favara at the chef’s home, about 20 km from the Relais, a Sicilian cooking class,
Alternatively, you can book a cultural and gastronomic tour of Favara to get to know the town and its traditions, including gastronomic ones (almonds and cannoli), or a horseback ride through the Grotte hills, guided by a professional instructor.

The history of our family has been linked to these lands for three generations since grandfather Alfonso, an ancient oil merchant, bought the first hectares in the early 1960s and fulfilled his dream of planting an olive grove.
Over time, although engaged in other activities, we have never been able to resist the call of this magical place, so much that in 2010 we decided to enlarge the property and create a farmhouse immersed in rural Sicily. An ancient farmhouse dating back to the late eighteenth century, immersed in the quiet of a timeless landscape surrounded by olive trees, carob trees and prickly pears. A magical place where you can find the balance between body and mind, let yourself be guided to the discovery of ancient traditions and savour simple and genuine food.
It is here that we make our Sicilian extra virgin olive oil PGI, cold extracted from carefully selected olives, harvested by hand and milled within 12 hours.
The farmer, olive oil sommelier, will guide you to discover this extraordinary gift of land and human work, expressing conviviality and culture in a liquid state.
