The winery has a long family tradition that began in the Marche and continued in the Frascati area, when in 1982 Piero bought Cardinal Pallotta’s vineyards in Monte Porzio Catone with the aim of producing high-quality wines.
Today the winery is owned by his nephew, a renowned winemaker and enthusiast for Lazio wines. He believes in the Frascati wine and its great potential: he is convinced that the Castelli Romani soil makes the wines produced in this area unique and that the climate helps the perfect ripening of the grapes; these soil and climatic characteristics find their maximum expression in the cultivation of the native grape variety par excellence: the Malvasia Puntinata (or Malvasia from Lazio). It is therefore our intention to create a Frascati wine with 80% of Malvasia from Lazio, in order to create a unique wine that is typical of the area.
The winery also adheres to a low environmental impact programme, reducing water consumption, energy consumption and pesticides thanks to advanced equipment and technologies.
