Day 1: Welcome!
This trip will introduce you to the wines for which the Veneto region is renowned, as well as grappa and excellent gastronomy in an environment rich in natural beauty and gentle landscapes.

Day 2: Sigurtà Park and Garden
A visit to the Sigurtà Park and Garden in Valeggio sul Mincio is a must, its botanical garden and the magnificent views make it one of the world’s most beautiful parks. At lunchtime, we will reveal which is the place in the village that prepares the best “tortellino”, a layer of pasta as thin as silk, cut into shape, stuffed with a delicate filling and tied into a knot. Take a relaxing stroll in the nearby hamlet of Borghetto with its water mills before ending your day visiting a winery and getting to know the local wines.

Day 3: Authentic Verona
Verona is among Italy’s most charming destinations, its surrounding hills offering wonderful views of Romeo and Juliet’s town. Verona is much more than Piazza Bra and the Arena, Piazza Erbe and Piazza dei Signori, Via Cappello and Corso Porta Borsari. Do not miss the Roman Theater, the Ponte Pietra, the Castelvecchio fortress, the Ponte Scaligero, the historic churches of San Fermo and Sant’Anastasia, the Duomo and San Zeno. On the way to Bassano you must stop at one of the many wine cellars that produce wines that, despite having the same name, are distinguished by the peculiarities and characteristics of each producer.

Day 4: Bassano del Grappa
Bassano del Grappa is renowned for its bridge, which was destroyed several times and rebuilt also by Andrea Palladio. You can visit one of the oldest distilleries in the area where grappa, the only truly Italian spirit, is produced. A short distance away is the town of Marostica, with its beautiful Piazza degli Scacchi, where every even-numbered year the chess game for which the town is famous is played. The rolling hills surrounding the town are covered with cherry trees offering excellent fruit that is renowned throughout the world, and it will not lack the opportunity to stop at a winery to taste the local wines.

Day 5: Arrivederci
