Day 1: Recanati
Arrival at the hotel in Recanati in the early afternoon. You will meet the tour guide at the Orto de L’infinito. The tour inside the garden is enriched by an evocative multimedia introduction that will immerse you in the atmosphere of the place, before going out into the open air, in the garden, and enjoying the panorama that opens up to the “Monti Azzurri”.
At the end of the visit, the guide will take you through the town, telling you anecdotes and curiosities about the places encountered along the way. The route continues to discover some of Leopardi’s places, but not before climbing to the top of the Torre Civica to enjoy a splendid view over the city! The guided walk ends in front of Casa Leopardi. Dinner on your own.

Day 2: Discovering saffron in the Marche region
After breakfast, we meet at Andrea’s house early in the morning. After a coffee, everyone moves to the saffron field to pick the flowers! Once the baskets have been filled, we move into the house for the activity of trimming, which involves extracting the red saffron stigmas from the flowers. Once all the red gold has been extracted from the flowers, it’s time to dry them! You will enjoy the snack with saffron jam. You will learn more about the culinary uses of saffron. Lunch is on your own. In the mid-afternoon, visit the museum of emigration from Le Marche.
Off-season: far from the harvesting period (October and November), the morning will be dedicated to cooking class with lunch! Souvenir: small recipe booklet.

Day 3: Goodbye in Le Marche
