What to expect

Enjoy a unique experience discovering Tuscan pottery, in Casole d’Elsa, in the province of Siena! I have devised two types of basic courses for beginners: one on the techniques of producing ceramic objects, trying to mould clay into shape, and one on artistic decoration.

The Tuscan ceramics course is suitable for beginners from 6 years of age
Customised group and advanced courses can be organised on request
The artefacts made and decorated during the course by the students, once fired, will be the property of the individual makers, to whom they will be handed over at the end of the course
For both types of Tuscan ceramics courses, the final firing of the object made is included (technical time for finishing and firing 30 days) and shipping to the student’s home (OPTIONAL and at an extra cost)

I am a professional ceramist from the prestigious School of Ceramics in Montelupo Fiorentino (Florence) who has been working in the field for about 15 years, with a workshop in Casole d’Elsa. During these years I have worked for museums, associations, cooperatives and creative art centres through workshops for children, joint projects for monumental works, and Tuscan pottery, potter’s wheel and decoration courses.
