What to expect

You will go on a fantastic day trip truffle hunting in the woods of Lazio, north of Rome, with the truffle hunter and his trained dogs.

You will then move to his country house, where he will cook lunch for you with delicious truffle dishes and excellent wine. At the end of lunch, we will all return together to the train station.

We have two locations for the tour, both easy to reach and close to Rome; for organisational reasons, we can change locations even a few days before the tour.

The Food Expert:

I have been a professional truffle hunter for 12 years. My passion for truffles, nature and animals has been with me since I was a child, when I followed in my father’s footsteps searching for truffles in the woods and truffle fields of Lazio, between Lake Bracciano and Zagarolo.

I am also a chef specialised in making dishes based on mushrooms and truffles. I started cooking with my father in our family restaurant when I was just 15 years old.
