Day 1: Arrival in the Eternal City

We will organise your first Roman day according to your arrival in Rome. If you arrive by your own vehicles, you can directly reach the hotel and take possession of the room. For those arriving by plane, our driver will be waiting for you at the airport and will take you to the city in a comfortable car.

Depending on the time available, we can organize tours, book tickets for museums or a show, reserve a table for dinner.

Day 2: Christian Rome and Baroque Rome

The morning of the second day is dedicated to the Vatican State and to the places that the whole world wants to see, at least, once in a lifetime. The Vatican Museums, with their rich collections of sculptures, paintings, frescoes, silverware and sacred objects. The Sistine Chapel with the Last Judgement by Michelangelo.

Saint Peter’s Basilica with its immense artistic heritage, amazing works of art such as the Pieta by Michelangelo or the Baldacchino by Bernini. The colonnade in the immense square in front of the Basilica.

At sunset, we will continue our tour of Rome to discover the Roman baroque. The sunset makes the monuments, squares, fountains that form the backdrop to the evening walk ever more fascinating.

The Spanish Steps with the Barcaccia, the Trevi Fountain to admire the most beautiful fountain in the world, and throw a coin that will bring you back in Rome, the ancient Pantheon and, finally, the scenic Piazza Navona.
The walk ends with an aperitif on the terrace with a magnificent view over the rooftops of Rome.

Day 3: Imperial Rome and Trastevere

Touring Rome and walking through its streets and squares, which are part of the Archaeological Park of the Forum, is like taking a journey through the history of the Roman Empire, like entering the set of the many films that were inspired by the history of Rome (Ben Hur, Quo Vadis).

A morning full of strong emotions. In the company of our expert guide you will enter the Colosseum, and then continue the visit of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. In the afternoon, your tour of Rome continues with time to enjoy the city, take photos, buy souvenirs to take home.

In the evening, Trastevere, Rome’s most typical neighbourhood, will be the setting for our evening walking tours of Rome. You will walk through its alleys and squares: the Tiber Island, the Church of San Crisogono, the Church of Santa Maria in Trastevere, the Basilica of Santa Cecilia. Especially in the evening, the neighborhood takes on a convivial atmosphere and our guide will take you to some of the typical bars and restaurants in Trastevere to have some food tastings.

Day 4: Frascati wine and gastronomy

For those who love to taste good wine and typical Roman foods in an environment of incomparable beauty, we have included in the guided tour Rome a unique destination that you allow you to look at Rome from the top of its hills.

Our driver will take you to the charming town of Frascati, a tour from Rome where you can walk around, enter some typical shops and taste the local gastronomy. Then, you will visit one of the most interesing wineries near Rome, where you can spend time in a vineyard. You will learn about the art of wine-growing, ending with a tasting of some fine wines produced locally. You will have lunch in a typical tavern, also called “fraschetta”.

After these tours from Rome, for the afternoon and evening you will have some time to enjoy the city on your own. We can reservese optional activities and for those who want to end their stay in Rome by dining in one of the restaurants selected by us, we can reserve a table.
