What to expect
As is traditional for spring festivals, we will burn the winter prunings of the vineyard and fruit trees. We will toast and eat around a large fire in the hope that the coming season will bring prosperity.
We will meet in the vineyards at 10.45 a.m. to start the spring festival. Together we will collect the dry shoots of the vine and feed the fire of the new spring.
We will share lunch in the vineyard with sausages, chops, potatoes under the ashes and whatever else the wicker baskets will contain. Are you ready to take part in the spring festival in the vineyard?

Viticulture and olive growing have always been in my family history. My father, pioneer of a new concept of viticulture and production of Cesanese del Piglio wine, has handed down to me his sincere passion for wine and for the conviviality of rural life.
The winery is located in a splendid historic family home, with rooms for farm stay, roof garden and dining room where you can enjoy the traditional and genuine dishes of Ciociaria in complete relaxation. You can participate in numerous wine tasting activities and spring festivals.

Viticulture and olive growing have always been in my family history.
My father, pioneer of a new concept of viticulture and production of Cesanese del Piglio wine, has handed down to me his sincere passion for wine and for the conviviality of rural life.
Since wine harvest 2009, I have chosen to vinify on my own the grapes of the “Colli Santi” family vineyard and of other Cesanese di Affile and Passerina del Frusinate vineyards, that I acquired later. As in my paternal tradition, I do not use chemical treatments in the vineyard. With the help of my life companion Geminiano, who has brought to the winery his agronomic experiences acquired around the world, we have undertaken a viticulture which is more in line with natural dynamics, working in agro – homeopathy.
The activities in the vineyard are carried out by hand from pruning to treatments and harvesting: this allows us to monitor and support the phenological growth of the grapes and, if necessary, to use biodynamic techniques.
We follow the same path in the wine cellar, where fermentations are spontaneous, with no added sulphites in the wines, compared to the vintage.
