Sicilian Lemon & Olive Oil Tour near Siracusa

Immerse yourself in the Syracuse countryside and visit our lemon grove to discover a local excellence: the Limone di Siracusa PGI. Together we will learn the techniques and secrets of extra virgin olive oil production at the farm’s olive oil mill. Next, we will taste 4 types of extra virgin olive oil, paired with home-made bread and small samples of local food.

What to expect

Come and enjoy the colours and scents of Sicily, at Solarino near Syracuse!

We will take a walk through our family lemon groves and you will learn all about the Limone di Siracusa PGI, a unique and internationally appreciated product.

We will walk among our Sicilian lemon trees breathing in the intense scent of orange blossom and caressing the leaves of these trees. During the production period, you too can pick the fruit and enjoy its unique flavour.

We will guide you among our centuries-old olive trees to discover the Italian and Sicilian olive-growing landscape. You will learn more about local cultivars, how the olives are harvested and the olive oil is cold pressed in our olive oil mill. You will find out more about the history of our family, which for four generations has been dedicated to the production of extra virgin olive oil and Sicilian lemons from Syracuse.

We will then taste our olive oil together – 4 labels. You will be enchanted by the unique scents, combined with bitterness and spiciness, that characterise our olive oil.
