  • Make preparations such as sponge cake, shortcrust pastry or a tasty custard cream
  • Taste the homemade sweets created during the confectionery courses

What to expect

Would you like to learn the basics of Italian pastry making? I am waiting for you to take part in the basic course in Italian pastry making in my artisan workshop in Ghilarza, in the province of Oristano.

During the patisserie courses, I will teach you some basic preparations. We will choose together what to make: we will make sponge cake, shortcrust pastry or a tasty custard.

You will then be able to make your first pastry creations at home, which you will have learned in an interactive and fun way during our confectionery courses.

You will share with me a simple but fundamental philosophy: to work using only the highest quality ingredients and products. In my workshop, no industrial semi-finished products, artificial flavourings or margarine are used.

We will conclude our patisserie courses by tasting together the creations we have just made.

The Food Expert: my career as a pastry chef started more than 30 years ago, after having worked in my brother’s bakery shop. With great commitment and dedication, I had been training in the Sardinian pastry tradition and subsequently under the aegis of master pastry chefs such as Iginio Massari.

The genuineness of my creations is ensured by a careful selection of raw materials (butter, high quality flours, natural flavouring and mother yeast) and by the choice of typical Sardinian products, such as almonds, honey, ricotta and citrus fruits. A choice that has allowed our pâtisserie to offer modern desserts, but in the wake of the bakery tradition of the island. I look forward to seeing you in the workshop for my Italian patisserie courses!
