That’s why I recommend our olive experience! A Salento extra virgin olive oil experience designed to introduce you to the ancient and modern techniques for producing high quality extra virgin olive oil.

I will take you on a tour of the underground oil mill dating back to 1700 (now the Salento Olive Oil Museum) in Cursi in the province of Lecce. This olive oil mill was in use until the last century.

On the next stage, I will take you to see and touch our olive trees. You will be surrounded by nature and learn about past and present olive oil techniques. You will follow the olive harvest. I will tell you the secrets, methods and stages of olive oil harvesting.

You will also have the opportunity to visit our modern olive oil mill, also located in Cursi. You will learn about the most modern procedures for extracting Salento olive oil. Finally, we will delight you with a tasting of Salento extra virgin olive oil and traditional local foods.

Our family history is a story about land. It was 1961 when the love for our olive oil tradition led to the creation of our farm. In the farm three generations live and work: we are born and bread among olive trees, with the heady scent of olive oil.

The passion of a family and 50 hectares of land are among the values that distinguish our farm, which today has got hundreds of hectares of olive trees in the Salento area. I will be with you through this journey among history, tradition and modernity.

A story about olive oil and olive trees, mothers and fathers, work and sacrifice: the authentic life of an Apulian family.

Our farm and olive oil mill are located in Salento, a land of ancient olive oil tradition. We are in Cursi in the province of Lecce and it is 1961. Fifty hectares of land and the dream of a father and his son. Since then the love for olive trees, closely connected to the Apulian culture, and the respect for nature have been the values that distinguish our farm work, today carried out by the two brothers of the family.

The farm has got hundreds of hectares of olive trees in the Salento area. It has got a future-oriented approch, with the adoption of the newest farming techniques and with an eye towards protecting the environment and the biodiversity of our territory.

The olive harvest begins in October through mechanical shaking.
The olives are then immediately taken to olive mill for cold pressing, so to ensure the production of authentic extra virgin olive oil, the fruit of our knowledge and traditions.
