Day 1: Gavi and its hills
You will arrive in the afternoon at Alto Monferrato. The tour guide will take you to the Fort of Gavi, an ancient stronghold built on a hill from which you can watch over the village of Gavi and the surrounding countryside, just a few kilometres away from the border with Liguria.
Then, you will visit a beautiful estate and historic winery. You will taste wines that have made this area famous in the world. In the evening, transfer to a wonderful resort with a magnificent view of the surrounding hills. Dinner at a typical restaurant with local specialties, truffle and overnight.

Day 2: Barolo and the Langhe
Breakfast at the Relais and a full day visiting the Barolo area with a private tour guide. After a walking tour of the village, you will enjoy a Barolo wine tasting (the king of wines, the wine of kings) in a beautiful building with historical wine cellar. The winery tour lasts about 30 minutes and includes the tasting of the most representative wines.
After the wine tasting, we will stop at Belvedere of La Morra for an incredible view over the countryside. Lunch on your own. Possible stop at another winery for a wine tasting. The excursion ends with a guided tour of Alba, the city of white truffles. Dinner on your own and return to the Relais.

Day 3: The Cinque Terre Park
Breakfast at the Relais and transfer by your own means to La Spezia. Full day dedicated to the Cinque Terre Park with a guided excursion.
With the expert tour guide, you will discover this beautiful coast and the marvellous towns (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso), following the Sentiero Azzurro, the most famous and well-known path. You will visit a local winery, taste typical wines and local products. Lunch on your own.
To conclude, you will enjoy a delicious aperitif at sunset aboard a typical Ligurian boat. Transfer to a luxury hotel nearby, dinner on your own and overnight.

Day 4: Portovenere and Palmaria Island
Breakfast at the hotel. Day dedicated to a magical guided tour of the wonderful village of Portovenere with its little harbour and the church of San Pietro, built on the extreme end of the village from where you can enjoy a wonderful sea view. You can also learn about the history of the Castle, of the sanctuary of the White Madonna and the Byron’s Cave. Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon, nice boat ride to get to know the Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto Islands. On your return to Portovenere, in complete relax, you can enjoy a delicious ice cream with sea view. In the evening, dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Sarzana and Luni
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Sarzana. Guided tour of the ancient fortified village, with the Porta Romana, the Bastioni della Cittadella and the wonderful Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. Then, you will walk along the picturesque streets and characteristic shops in the centre. We recommend a quick stop at a pastry shop to taste the typical Sarzan Spungata.
Afterwards, we recommend a visit to Luni with its vast archaeological area and the beautiful Museum. Lunch on your own and departure.
