Day 1: Villa Sandi and Pordenone
Arrival in the early afternoon, visit to the Villa Sandi winery which for its architectural beauty, its position and the quality of its product is considered the temple of Prosecco. Tasting of local wines with typical products.
We continue to Pordenone (64 km). Arrival in the late afternoon and free visit to one of the most evocative cities of Friuli Venezia Giulia with a truly characteristic medieval historic centre. Free dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2: Poffabro, Frisanco and Vajont
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit at the wonderful villages of Poffabro and Frisanco, characterized by their typical natural architecture, which are part of the 10 most beautiful villages in Friuli Venezia Giulia (35 km). Free lunch.
In the afternoon, the visit continues to Vajont (51 km) with the visit at the museum that tells the story of the dam and the tragedy that destroyed Longarone on the night of the 9th October 1963. After that return to Pordenone, free dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Casarsa, Valvasone and Spilimbergo
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Casarsa (17 km). Visit to the Pier Paolo Pasolini Museum. Then, visit to the medieval village of Valvasone (5 km). At the end winery tour and wine tasting.
The tour continues to Spilimbergo with the visit at the school and museum of the Mosaic. At the end departure for Udine (33 km), hotel accommodation, free dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Udine and San Daniele del Friuli
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Udine and free visit of the historic centre of the city. The city is dominated by the hill on which the ancient castle stands, now home to the civic museums. Udine is also the city of Tiepolo and Tina Modotti. We recommend an aperitif in a typical Friulian inn (tajut). Free lunch.
In the afternoon, it will be possible to walk along the road of the castles and the ham to reach San Daniele del Friuli (km 23). Free visit of the town (Guarneriana Library) and to an ham factory with the possibility to consume a dinner, of course. Return to Udine for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Cividale del Friuli and Corno di Rosazzo
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit of Cividale del Friuli (17 km) with the Longobardic Temple and the Devil’s Bridge over the Natisone. Tasting of gubana (typical dessert with Austro-Slovenian influences). Free lunch.
The visit continues to Corno di Rosazzo with a visit at a winery and the tasting of the famous Collio wines. In the afternoon visit to the famous Abbey from which it is possible to enjoy a magnificent view of the Friuli plain. At the end it continues to Trieste (71 km). Free visit to the monumental Military Memorial of Redipuglia. Hotel accommodation, free dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Trieste and Miramare Castle
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning free visit of the historic centre of Trieste which offers Roman and medieval evidences with Piazza Unità d’Italia and San Giusto.
Afterwards, free visit to the Risiera di San Sabba, a Nazi concentration camp used for the transit, detention and elimination of a large number of prisoners, mainly political and Jewish prisoners. Free lunch.
In the afternoon, possible transfer to Miramare Castle. Free visit of the castle and the wonderful garden. In the evening free dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Aquileia and Palmanova
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the ancient and evocative city of Aquileia. Visit to the Basilica and the Heroes’ Cemetery (from where the remains of the Unknown Soldier departed that now rests at the altar of the Fatherland). Free lunch.
In the afternoon departure for Palmanova, the starry city, a magnificent example of an 18th century Venetian fortress built as a bulwark in anti-Turkish and Austrian function. Departure for the return.
