What to expect
The Chianti Rufina wine tour begins with a walk through the vineyards. We will make a brief introduction to the soil, the varieties of grapes and olives, and the history of the winery. You will visit the inner courtyards, the private garden of the historic villa, the historic fermentation and ageing cellars, carved into the rocks.
You will have a guided tasting of an old vintage, starting from 1982, of your choice. The bottle will be taken from the underground vault where the old family reserves are kept. You will conclude the experience with a light lunch of local cured meats, cheeses and crostini.

It enjoys a southern exposure, limestone soils and an altitude ranging from 250 to 400 metres above sea level.
