What to expect

The Chianti Rufina wine tasting begins with a tour of the vineyards around the estate and a brief introduction to the soil and the varieties of grapes and olives grown in this corner of Tuscany, just a stone’s throw from Florence.

We will tell you the history of the winery, visit the inner courtyards, the private garden of the villa, and the historic fermentation and ageing cellars, carved into the rocks. Then a fantastic Chianti Rufina wine tasting awaits you! When booking, you can choose between:

  • Visit + Tasting: 5 wines
  • Visit + Light lunch: 6 wines + light lunch with a platters of salami, Tuscan ham, 2 types of Tuscan cheese, liver crostini and others, fettunta with olive oil.

Chianti is one of Italy’s most famous wines and is classified into different denominations depending on the area in which it is produced. The estate is located in the Chianti Rufina region, the smallest production area of Chianti. It enjoys a southern exposure, limestone soils and an altitude ranging from 250 to 400 metres above sea level.
