What to expect

Visit an all-female winery where the famous Brunello di Montalcino is produced. Walk through the vineyards and learn about the history of the winery. You will then descend into the cellar to learn more about the Brunello wine-making and ageing process. You will taste 3 wines: 1 Rosso di Montalcino, 1 Brunello di Montalcino, 1 wine chosen by your guide, bruschetta with local olive oil.

In Pienza, at lunchtime, you will be welcomed into the cheese factory to discover the famous Pecorino di Pienza! The cheese maker will take you inside the workshop and the maturing cells to discover all the details of production. Given the time, the tasting is worth a lunch! You will taste 8 different cheeses produced on the farm, cold cuts and excellent Orcia DOC wine.
