The Food Expert:
The history of our winery dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, when the founder decided to buy a “masseria”, a farm house with several hectares of land near Rapolla, a town that is located in the province of Potenza on the slopes of Mount Vulture, an ancient extinct volcano.
A territory rich in nature, but also in history: in 1856, the famous “Sarcophagus of Rapolla” was found in the land that is currently owned by our family and it is now displayed in the National Museum inside the Castle of Melfi. During our wine experiences, you can take part in fascinating wine cellar tours to taste Aglianico wine in one of the most award-winning wineries in Vulture.
Cancellation policy: all bookings for the Aglianico del Vulture wine tasting can be cancelled within 3 days from the start date of the experience. Read the Terms and Conditions.

In 2012 our family made an important decision: to enhance the characteristics of the Aglianico del Vulture grape variety.Understanding its value and great potential, we purchased a thirty-year-old vineyard and a wine cellar dug in natural tufa caves, where we take care of the whole winemaking process from harvesting to the ageing of wine in order to produce high-quality Aglianico del Vulture DOC and to represent our extraordinary territory at its best.A territory rich in nature, but also in history: in 1856, the famous “Sarcophagus of Rapolla” was found in the land that is currently owned by our family and it is now displayed in the National Museum inside the Castle of Melfi.
